Okay,okay..I'll update..if it means so much to entertain the little amount of readers that I still have. I guess they come here for a time of lameness which I hope to carry out. =] Okay, firstly, I'm going to post about last friday's little "adventure". It first started out with me meeting RACHEL HOA at tampinese MRT. After awhile, JETHRO LOW came strolling in to the scene, and finally, MITCHELL POON appeared from the crowds. so we three started to make a move to the shuttle bus service to take the shuttle bus to IKEA. (which we all are still finding out how to pronounce,so if you know, don't hesitate to give suggestions.) After waiting for awhile, we decided we could not wait anymore and managed to persuade mitchell to treat us CAB go to ikea. And when we reached there, we found GLENDA BOEY, GIDEON BOEY AND JOEL HOA, waiting for us at a table at the eating place. We all ordered our food, it was not bad but the chicken wings were ultra good, too bad gideon was being so calculative and I'm sure they still don't believe that i can finish all 7 chicken wings under 10 mins. No prob man. After that, BRYAN ONG arrived at around 3+.Blah blah blah..we played around just like everyone else who goes there, broke some of the measuring tapes that were everywhere, took some lame pictures and
slack in the "rooms". Its the ultimate stoning place. Okay, blah blah blah again..fast forward to where the HOAs and BOEYs had to leave, and mitchell thought of watching a movie as it was still early, and bryan had this radical idea of watching WINX CLUB the movie. The secret of the lost kingdom. Its like, the blockbuster movie of the year!! (Take a step and you will never take another step...) thats ultimate crap man. Okay anyway, we decided to watch at PRINCESS as it was cheaper. $5, $6 like that, even on weekends. And we called along JAVAN LOW, EDISON NEO and BOON TECK. They were also crazy enough to agree to watch that show. Soooo, jethro, bryan, mitchell and I went to the shuttle service "bus stop"..then after waiting for like..less then 1 min..the magic word came out.............CAB........... and somehow we managed to make mitchell pay again..ahaha..so when we reached princess, with the excitement of knowing that 7 male teenagers are going to experience something that 7 other male teenagers won't experience, which is of course having the honour of watching winx club...We were about to make our way up the stairs, and to our horror, princess CLOSE DOWN!!! then we like..wah sian..so we went to MCDONALDS and discuss what to do. Mitchell saw His friend over there, having his date ( AT MCDONALDS?? thats super romantic man.) And I saw YAN KUN over there, he was working! haha..okay, so we finally decided to head back to BLOCK 98 to take a rest..And the very frequent dilemma came again..how to go back? I just love the magic word.........CAB...........and mitchell paid again..haha. Okay, we went back to rest and watch simpsons for about an hour..part 1 of that very interesting friday just ended.......Lets move in to part two..night time. Okay, so at that time, MITCHELL POON, EDISON NEO, JETHRO LOW, JAVAN LOW and ME were left, we decided to go to JUSTIN NG'S grandfather's funeral, which was at BOON KENG ROAD..that place is irritating. Okay, so part two starts here. The five of us took a train to KALLANG MRT..that part no problem, here's where it starts to get crappy. Everyone said the block was very hard to find, and it indeed lived up to its name. Mitchell went to ask the MRT staff, otherwise known as ABDUL RAHMAN. He asked us whether want to walk or take bus, take bus only two stops. Then the oh so smart mitchell said,"WALK". Okay, never mind, walk maybe more fun. So we took the directions ABDUL RAHMAN gave us..it was, "Go out, turn left, walk straight, then after the overhead bridge reach already."..Something like that. So we took his directions and there was NO overhead bridge, but don't know why we just kept walking.......industrial buildings......more industrial buildings.....and finally..we see some blocks..( the block where the funeral was held is block 38) so we walk into the blocks, and we saw block 33 and 34..then we cannot find block 38, then we asked around the people there say, "this is bendeemer road, not boon keng road, and here only until block 34." so we like..wah sian..then we walk somemore..and we saw kallang community club then we called those who were at the funeral for directions and they heard GEYLANG community club, because geylang west CC is quite near to block 38, so they told us to walk left, so we kept walking, and walking and walking. Walk until BOON KENG MRT. From green line,walk to purple line, thanks to ABDUL RAHMAN, better careful, we might ask uncle james sack you..ahaha. Okay anywayy, after awhile, mitchell looked at his GPS, and found an UPPER BOON KENG RD..wahh, so we walked back ALL the way back to square one, and were finally on the right track. at that time we walked for 1 hour++ already, so anyway, we reached there after an eternity and after the funeral, we were waiting for bus 175, take SUPERR LONG to come, and finally we reached back about 11+. And among the around 10 people who started the adventure at ikea, only mitchell, jethro and me survived. Woohoo. Okay, that was a pretty lengthy post, looks like I'll post about youth camp another time..ahaha, this should keep you readers satisfied for sometime. and please tag if you happened to read till here. cya~
